Presti likes to get players who has impress him and affordable for the team budget. He should be more focused on a big man who can get 10 to 15 rebounds a night, can dunk to score and provide 12 to 15 points a night and has the body to move around centers from the paint with ease to provide a path for the drivers to the hoop. A player like a Marc Gasol. Why keep players on the bench for appearance sake, instead see if they are worth it or not. The center Presti ship to the Bobcats is doing fine over there, he at least will give the Thunder better numbers than what they have right now!

[...] Berry Tramel: “I don’t know if Martin wasn’t being assertive, or if the Grizzlies had Westbrook and Co. in such a frenzy, Martin was forgotten. Doesn’t matter. Either way, it’s got to change. The Thunder is not built for one of its stars to veg out. And like it or not, Martin has star status on this team. He has to produce for the Thunder to excel. That’s why Westbrook has to stay in attack mode, even if he’s not making shots. The Thunder does not have the parity of offensive talent to allow one of its scorers to step aside. Martin has to understand that. And the Thunder has to understand that about Martin.” [...]

Memphis is just ANOTHER team in the West that has passed the Thunder. OKC will finish as a 3-5 seed in the West this year and will NOT make the Finals. Support OU and OSU basketball this year, they have young and promising teams who look to be playing to their potential.

Speaking of the bus episode between Erkins and Randolph, how about shipping Perk out on one to any far away location. Why has he been receiving from all of the writers, yourself included. By now, it should be totally apoarent that he is useless against anyone who can move in the least.

Sam blew it with him and having to trade James. Let's move on. Put him on the bench, the bus, in a Thunder cheerleader outfit, in the front office, as an assistant coach, to the D league, selling hot dogs, but not on the floor

Unleash the Lamb! (More) seriously though, Martin isn't Harden...Martin cannot and will not enable the Thunder's second team to have the smooth flow it had last year. He is a scorer. That is it. That is all. It is becoming apparent that we got rid of the wrong max player....one of our superstars' games has a shelf life, and when age and/or injury damages the impossible speeds at which WB plays, he becomes a below-average shooting point guard with zero court vision. All we can do as fans is appreciate his phenomenal athleticism while it lasts, and hope Presti and company make the move before either injury, or time, precludes acting from a point of leverage.
