Best bet is Chelf or Walsh!!! Tech is good at pass defense and not so good at rushing defense! We need to run the ball and having a quarteback in willing to do that would be great! Lunt is not going to run anywhere! Walsh is the best if he is back to 100%. If not Chelf is not afraid to take off running with the ball to pick up a first down or extra yards!!! One of the two need to finish out the season as long as they are healthy and Lunt needs time to mature and learn!

Let Clint finish out the season as starter. He earned it, he has the coolest head and it appears that he has the confidence of the team.

I compare his situation with Brandon's when Brandon came out of nowhere in Colorado to fill in for Cate.

Wait, why would the three missed field goals count against Walsh? He wasn't on the field for any of the three and had nothing to do with the misses. Those are entirely fair as measures of offensive efficiency. But when assessing quarterback efficiency how on earth can you count plays where the quarterback isn't on the field? Doesn't make a lick of sense.

Ultimately you go with the guy who leads the offense and wins games, not stats. Gundy himself is a great example of that. He replaced a guy that was a stat monster (Ronnie Williams). Same thing with Zac Robinson over Bobbie Reid. Brandon Weeden was the seemingly rare combination of both. This season reminds me a lot of the battle between Bobbie, Donovan and Zac - and Zac was originally the third string QB, was he not? Whoever Gundy & Monken picks has my support.

Gundy always talks about reps in practice. If you went into the game thinking you might pull the QB and replace him if he struggles, then you give the most reps to Lunt and start him. Chelf is the most likely one to rally the team for a win off of the bench a-la Cate/Weeden against Colorado in 2009. I just don't see Walsh and especially Lunt bringing us back with out a lot of practice during the week. Chelf needs the least amount of practice for what he brings to the table.

I don't think it's fair to pin 100% of Lunt's picks are all on him. All but 2 of them bounced off two hands of an OSU receiver. You can't expect Lunt to affect how well the receivers get their hands on the ball without tipping it up for the defense.

Lunt's pass against K-State that was returned for a td should have been caught and I really don't think he was totally healed ankle wise for that game. If Gundy knew pre-K=State kickoff what He knows now He probably would have started Clint. However, if Lunt is totally healthy I would predict He gets the ball. I think Lunt is the long term answer but for the next three games all are very capable of leading the Pokes to victory with the way the defense and young receivers are playing. This team is really beginning to gel as a total unit

Lunt's second half against TCU was very, very good. But he didn't play well against Kansas State. If Walsh is truly recovered from his injury, then he's probably the best. OSU should probably just go ahead and name him the #1 QB. To be sure, Walsh is the one with the most game experience at this point. If Walsh isn't that recovered and his injury is still some kind of issue, then I think OSU should start Chelf. At least he's shown he knows what he is doing and can execute the plays and lead the team.
