Again, I thought this was about ON FIELD performance and not what they might do in the future. Please read your columns from the first of the year. How do you have TTech ahead of Texas when Texas just handled TTech at Lubbock? They have both played OU and lost and both played WVA and Texas lost and Tech won. But head to head it is Texas. The conference is beginning to shake out. It is KState followed by OU and then everybody else until Baylor and Kansas at the bottom. It is looking like Oregon will move ahead of KState if both win out and then OU has a chance at the Sugar Bowl. But it would depend on who picks first. It might be possible the Orange Bowl would rather have a two loss OU against FSU than another Big East team.

Because against the 6 teams "in the middle", Tech is 3-1 and Texas is 2-1. So Berry ranked the teams just as he explained he would: "let’s take the other six and rank them based on their record against each other." Which puts Tech 3rd and Texas 4th, as he wrote: Here are those six: Tech 3-1, Texas 2-1, OSU 2-1, Iowa State 1-2, West Virginia 1-2, TCU 1-3."
