Wow. First off mike, Martin will not come in for WB. That will be Maynor’s job. Yes, Martin can and will score in clutch situations as he did last night with a few three balls in the fourth quarter. Also, he has been the leading scorer on all of the teams he has played on, so I would assume he has made a few "clutch" shots in his career. The last time Harden made a clutch shot was against the Spurs in the Conference Finals. Not in the actual Finals where he disappeared for the entire series. I do think that Martin will want to resign with the thunder after this season, because he is now on a team that is headed to greater and bigger things than the regular season that he is accustomed to playing in. Also, the owners that you say are arrogant, spineless, and scumbags are simply not any of those. You must not have any business savvy to understand that the "extra 4mm" is not just an extra 4.5 million. There is this crazy, crazy thing in the NBA called a tax that would make that seemingly small 4.5 grow to an amount that is outrageously large.

It has always dumbfounded me on how many people are so ignorant to how the NBA works. Mike, you are a great example of how many ignorant "fans" there are of the game.

wow. thank you for a dismal, bland comparison equating harden to martin. will martin come in and spell westbrook at the point when WB has his pathetic little meltdowns, like harden did? will martin score in the clutch when durant can't get open, like harden did? will martin be here, year after next, like harden would have been if our arrogant spineless scumbag owners could pony up the extra 4mm?
at the end of the day, if I'm asked if I prefer flexibility or championships, I have my answer. how about you?

Another way to think of it, who would you rather have Durant, Westbrook and company go against? Harden or Ibaka?
