Certainly was a different era back then.

Got an idea for next year’s game in South Bend. How about having Notre Dame wear green and OU wear red to commemorate that first meeting back in 1952? Kind of like Christmas in September. Maybe have some sort of throw-back uni’s as well, just for fun.

Not sure if “Surrey with a Fringe on Top” would bring em to their feet at halftime in the 21st Century, but I guess you never know.
