Good blog. But Berry I was thinking that Jerome Ledbetter was a wishbone halfback, not fullback. Weldon Ledbetter was a fullback I’m sure. Maybe Jerome played the same position but I recall him as a HB.

This is an interesting column. My input: Switzer’s teams hardly ever ALLOWED a long kickoff return, though, in contrast to Stoops’ squads. Also, how many teams have run back kickoffs for touchdowns against OU since DeMarco’s Baylor return in 2007? Granted, there’s also been ample opportunity for opponents to run back kickoffs, because of the Sooners’ offensive prowess.
