Of course they’re due a letdown. It’s called “realizing that no matter how many times they win, they still have to go home and live in Oklahoma.” Anyone would feel let down upon such a realization.

It’s really hard to get motivated to play a team coached by “two ax handles wide” Charlie Weiss. His hiring leaves me almost sympathetic to Jayhawk fans. Could it be worse than those two fabulous teams coached by Turner Gill? Yes, it is, a lot worse.
