I’m a Cyclone fan, so I hate pointing this out, but ISU is actually 1-2 in the Big 12, not 2-1. But I still think your rankings are spot on!

The worst thing for OU might be that TTech beat WVA. The hope for OU was that WVA would be KState this week and then OU would beat WVA. That would set up a three way tie with hopefully OU rated out as the best and would allow them claim the Big XII Championship. Now OU has to hope TTech beats KState and OU wins out and it is a three way tie with KState, TTech and OU.

I agree…OU thumped Texas…but just what does that mean? How good is Texas, when KU takes OSU to the ropes and OSU should have beaten UT? It appears there is a clear division of teams in the Big 12. KSU and OU have the best defenses….then the rest…the next tier is…TT, TCU, ISU followed by WVU, OSU, and last BU and UT, and finally KU. OU has played the 2 best teams out of all big 12 teams so far…KSU and TT. It’s about to get more interesting. Just can’t see KSU losing twice, but freaky things happen the closer you get to Halloween. WHATEVER, IT IS ALWAYS GREAT TO BEAT DOWN THE HORNS!

Here’s an interesting question from an OU fan. If the refs would have made a different call for OSU against Fexas and their record was 2-0, 4-1, where would berry have them ranked? I suspect probably #3. In this Big 12, no one is safe, you can rise and fall fast in just a week.

I do remember one year OU lost to Texas and then Texas cooperated and lost their last two games…to KState and Texas A&M and OU ended up Big XII Champion. It can happen again….but I wouldn’t count on it. If OU wins out and KState is Big XII Champion then OU should still get a BCS Bowl, probably the Sugar Bowl. That would still be great….maybe a chance to play Florida again…..hopefully with better results this time. Oh by the way OSU IS worse than Baylor. Getting beat by Texas and being played close by Kansas is not the mark of a good team. I can also see Texas going 6-6 or 7-5 this year. That would be super!!

Going to be hard for KSU to lose 2 games…but theossibilities are still there. Who saw TT beating OU last year?

This time it looks like you have it pretty close. Losing a close game to Texas doesn’t look so good for OSU. This is about as bad as winning close over Kansas. If you are slightly worse than Texas and slightly better than Kansas you are not a very good football team. I am not sure there are any teams left that can beat KState. They play good defense…not great but good. They play their kind of offense. Not big numbers, but no big mistakes either. I really can’t see them losing twice and maybe not at all. I think if OU wins out it could be Florida-OU in the Sugar Bowl unless enough teams above KState lose and then OU would go to the Fiesta Bowl and KState would be in the Championship Game.
