Stoops does recruit two dimensional QB’s-Run/Pass. The only thing is he takes away their ability to make plays with their feet due to his philosophy on offense. When you do that you eliminate a ball carrier and the threat of keeping a drive alive or defense guessing. When a QB comes to OU the only thing he will need his feet for is to run out of bounds, unless he’s assigned to be the special running QB like Bell.
