Tonight's win means that FSU will maintain its number 4 ranking. Are they LSU-Alabama elite? Don't think so though the talent that Jimbo has recruited is coming along. Still have a lot to improve. Clemson is a very talented offensive team. Morris is a creative playcaller. Defensively, very young. Good win all in all.

I can go along with the 34-23 prediction with OU winning...but and that is a big but...I am not entiraely sure how good either team really is and I have some reservations on the lineplay both sides of the ball for OU. It OU "O" line can run block and pass protect and keep from injuries that will be big. Then the OU Dline will need to be able to control the line and keep KState from running the ball effectively will be big...as will 3 and outs to keep the OU defense off the field... Sooner Depth is a big issue and if it is a close game in the fourth quarter it will be to KStates advantage.

The "Noles are back" refrain is a media creation. When Fisher took the reins, he made it clear that his aim was not bring the Noles "back." While he respects the accomplishments of 1987-2000, he has told each of his squads that their responsibility was to create their own culture and success. You'll note that the offensive and defensive philosophies are totally different from the Bowden era. So why listen to the media hype at all? In reality, the Noles are improving year to year but haven't reached elite status yet. The score you predict would be a nice win. Go Noles!
