If you have more than one quarterback, you don't have a quarterback.

Tramel, the quote above regarding the wildcat formation has nothing to do with playing multiple quarterbacks. It has everything to do with defending the formation.

Give Bell the time and snaps, he would be the starter. Jones got that when Stoops pulled Bradford to protect him for the draft. Bell has running skills Jones doesn't have. All the elite and most of the up and comers have mobil QB's. Texas A&M has two of the best out there. Thats what made the 'bone so good. There were four running backs in the backfield, which also made play action passing so wide open.

And, then what do you have when the QB can both run and pass....like Klein and Walsh. Is this really anything different from when Zac Robinson was a QB. Bell is a huge QB but then again so is Klein. Klein, at least in the past was not so hot in passing but he now has improved. When KState played OSU last year Klein had a hot hand and surprised the Poke defense that was more geared that game to stop the run. When OU played KState last year Klein did not have a hot hand. The question for OU is whether or not Klein will have a hot hand to contend with in addition to the run game. Bell may be getting better at throwing but the Belldozer is mostly a run formation and Bell probably does not get enough reps. in practice to get in sync. with receivers to pass much in a game. A surprise pass though is always an option though.
