Berry, TMI. Your travel blogs are great, but word to the wise... keep it about sight-seeing and cuisine please and drop the clothing updates. Nobody cares to hear about that.

Oak Creek: you may not have liked the town of Oak Creek, but the scenery of Oak Creek Canyon is incredible.

"Awesome": I wound never include the Golden Gate as an awesome sight. But I would add the Grand Canyon. You should have driven up through Flagstaff and to the south rim of the GC. It's a great road trip.

"Otherwise, the Fox contract is fine."

The Fox contract is not fine, and it still would not be fine if every hotel and motel in America added all the Fox channels. Fox does a lousy, stinking job of covering college football. Big Fox is so busy telling you about the NFL games coming up the next day that news of college football gets lost amongst all the stupid exploding graphics and sound effects, and the little Foxes have announcers that should be doing high school games on local TV, if even that.

I don't like ESPN's corporate policies and shilling for the SEC, but it does an infinitely better job of covering college football than Fox does.

Berry,

If you knew some things of Tucson's History, you would think differently, it is a much older town. You missed both Saguaro national Parks, Mt. Lemon, The desert Museum; as a transplanted Okie living in Sierra Vista, the beauty of Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties are hard to touch, the musical Oklahoma was filmed here! The Canyon's of the Huachuca Mountains are the best hummingbird watching in the world. Come on down to the place of Geronimo, Cochise, and Wyatt Earp.

Berry: my wife and I agree with you, Arizona is one of our favorite states. We love the Phoenix area as well as Flagstaff. North of Flagstaff is the Grand Canyon. East of Flagstaff is the giant meteor crater , the Painted Desert, which is beautiful, and the Petrified Forest, which is quite fascinating. But best of all is Sedona, the scenery is absoluely stunning, I could sit all day just looking at the red rocks. And everyone who goes to Sedona should be required to take a Pink Jeep ride. Great, great fun.
