Jeff, expansion is great, but who? What teams are available that actually help the conference? The only team that would help the conference is Notre Dame and they have NO interest in joining ANY conference, let alone the Big XII. They are working with the Orange Bowl to get a bowl tie-in. This is ALL about MONEY!!! The Big XII just signed a TV deal and the SEC is going to sign one soon that will dwarf the Big XII deal. The Big XII just doesn't have the TV markets to generate enough revenue to compete longterm with the SEC, PAC 12 and B1G. It won't happen this year or next but over the long term the Big XII will drop down to the ACC level. If one conference provides $20M per year per school and the other provides $30M per year per school it soon adds up to real money. Four schools looked at the long term and jumped to greener (more money) pastures. OU should have cut the ties to Texas and jumped with OSU to the PAC 12 when they had the chance.

Based on on field performance I would say it is about right.
I do agree with Galileo though. I also agree a road win over Iowa is better than a home win against Miami. I also would move OU down since UTEP was beaten by a bad team last week. I think a better rating based on only on field performance would be:
Iowa State-KState-Baylor-West Virginia-Texas-Texas Tech-OU-TCU-OSU-Kansas. Texas has beaten two not so good teams but at least they were in the same division. They didn't go down a division to play. Wins over lesser division foes shouldn't count as a win and a loss to one should count double. I am afraid in the next game OU plays they will find out what it is to face a really good team. I am an OU fan, but I think it will be KState 38-OU 24. Colin Kline is looking like the best of both Jones and Bell.

Berry, you ranked Baylor #1 after Week One, over West Virginia. Then why would you put West Virginia ahead of Baylor now since they both had Week 2 off? If this list is determined by actual on-field achievements only, then I fail to understand how WVa's win over Marshall is bigger now than it was last week. Both SMU and Marshall won their games in Week 2 over lesser opponents (SMU beat Stephen H. Austin and Marshall beat Western Carolina). So strength of schedule can't be the reason.
