The problem with ANY young QB is not being able to quickly check down. That will take some time even with a QB the quality of Wes Lunt. So, my guess is one receiver will get the most passes. Look once if he thinks he can get it there throw it. It will be next year before he gets to be able to check down to the second and third receiver.

Um, Tracy Moore just got busted AGAIN by the cops, so I am guessing that he won’t be Lunt’s go-to guy if he gets suspended indefinitely for a 3rd arrest. Blake Jackson, on the other hand, now THERE’S a target for a young QB!

Interesting stats. It would seem Blackmon caught more than 28.3 percent of the completions in 2011. If you look at his yards and touchdowns I bet his percentages go up. Throw in third down conversions and game winning scores (Kansas State, Texas A&M, Stanford) and the eye test goes to Blackmon. Make no mistake, he will be very hard to replace but if all the receivers step up we will be fine.
