Couldn’t agree more with you about In-N-Out Burger. If you want a burger place that actually lives up to the hype, go to Five Guys.

The Krispy Kreme analolgy is a good one, except that at least Krispy Kreme donuts actually were great quality. In-N-Out Burger is okay but nothing special.

On non-traditional Mexican food, here is a suggestion in Dallas-i.e. La Calle Doce. Go to the original on West 12th Street (La Calle Doce) in the North Oak Cliff area. (Just south of the Trinity river (basketball arena) and right off of I-35 if on your way to Waco or Austin.) Sit on the wrap-around porch if the weather is suitable. Excellent marisco. On another note, any developments on the new Big 12 contract?
