The hole they dug at PSU, is probably to deep to ever dig their way out, The men who represented the University failed not only the young boys that were tortured, but the truth for what they stood for. It seems JoePa’s record was all that mattered to them. Sure there are alot of innocent people being hurt by all this, but it was their leaders that failed them, Not the NCAA, Just be happy it didnt happen to your favorite University and move on.

Defense of an institution or even a great legend at the cost of the welfare of children is inexcusable. This is what I’m more perplexed by, Why could anyone in the entire state of Pennsylvania, any alumni, any former PSU football player begin to defend the actions of the University or their Idol Paterno? If Bud, Barry, or Bob committed the same offense of inaction, OU would not have a football program for a time while proper punishment for the whole institution was felt. Do you know who would demand it? The people of Oklahoma, the alumni, and the former OU football players. Glory on the gridiron at the cost of the children is beyond disgusting.

I am not sure there is much difference in PSU penalties and those at SMU. There are those that in criminal punishment that think in some cases, life without parole is as bad or worse than the death penalty. SMU was punished in 1986. I haven’t seen a SMU logo or initial on anyone since. The PSU atrocities are much more a detestable offense than cheating. I think PSU received life without parole. I do not feel it was too harsh. However, I feel very sorry for those that have a degree from there that went for the education and did not get involved in trying to obtain Sainthood for Joe Paterno. They have received a lifetime jolt.

Penn State can never receive enough of a penalty for what happened. The whole university should be shut down and razed.

So sadly ironic that Paterno once said he didn’t want to “leave college football to the Barry Switzers of the world.” Barry looks like a saint in comparison, and would not have tolerated a pedophile in his coaching ranks.

If these offenses didn’t merit the death penalty, I’m afraid to see what would it would take. NCAA has apparently lost its own moral compass as well.

Penn State turned a blind eye to the abuse of kids. It’s just that simple.

We can alwaus Coach Stoops to say and do
the right thing regarding the program.
He always has to date in giving a kid another
chase when deserved. He has never failed
to do the right thing and throw a kid off
the team also when warranted.
