If Barry Switzer knew and did or said nothing as children were molested over a 14 year span, he shares culpability.

All who knew and did or said nothing share in culpability.

Penn State did much worse than just sweep this under the rug. For 14 years they continued to invite kids to their camps and clinics full well knowing that they might be molested by their in-house predator.

It’s kind of ironic that this article was written. Paterno was quoted as saying he was staying in coaching because he did want to leave it in the hands of the Barry Switzers and Jackie Sherrills of the world.

At the time Paterno was in race with Bobby Bowden for the title of Winningest Coach. It was a matter of which one would last the longest. They both wanted it so bad they stayed longer than they should have. Paterno wanted the title so bad he would sacrifice young boys in order to keep his job. What the NCAA should do is slap a penalty on the COACH. All wins after the first time the rapes were reported to him (1999) will be removed from HIS record. That would be the ultimate penalty for him. His name would be forever removed from the record books. Penn State should also remove his statue.
