Brooks should tell Westbrook that the first shot he misses in a game will be the last shot he takes in that game, and stick to it. It would make Westbrook consider his shot selection very carefully.

Thank You_Big D: I agree with what you said. Without Russell working hard to get things going from the very beginning of the game, we would be too far behind for Kevin's amazing fourth quarter shot to make a difference. We can still get the job done; let's talk the team up, and give coach Brook some love. He needs to know that we believe in him, and we do. I believe this is our time.

Does anyone out there think we should push and run the floor on every possession like I do? Wade and Lebron were gassed in game 1, and the thunder ought to place emphasis on pushing the ball up. Whoever Wade and Lebron are guarding should run circles on the offensive half constantly. Thunder on young legs would really clean up late in the 3rd and all of the 4th qtrs.

Westbrook is the heart of the team and the biggest reason we are in the Finals.KD is not an alpha male personality.Russell is.KD needs to let the game gradually come to him and gain confidence as it progresses.Russ comes in confident. When hes shooting well,we are unstoppable. When he's shooting poorly,he still has to be accounted for because of his slashing and passing ability.Without Russ, there would be no reason for defenses not o ouble nd triple KD constantly and there old be no fourth quarter takeovers.Bottom line is Russ gets all the blame in the loss and a small piece of begrudging credit when we win.The game has changed.Point guards score now.We have the best scoring point guard in the game, but he's human.

Westbrook's play in the first game saved the day. Take pot shots at him now but playing in top form is a daily toss up on any given day for any given player.

Berry,

Excellent observations. And I'm fascinated by the fact that (if I remember rightly) when Westbrook takes more shots than Durant, the Thunder is 26-6. That said, it still seems to me that Westbrook has played out-of-control in this series, and has taken too many wild shots. Perhaps, too, the offense gets stagnant because of him?

Agreed. thought that when it was 13-2 should have taken a timeout and made a quick adjustment. However, last night did show how dangerous this Thunder team is. Between a cold start, too many misses from the free throw line and two bad calls, only to lose by 4 is pretty darn good. I expect a different team in MIA. Wade had his old form back as well and LeBron was spectacular.
