Puhleese … will you please drop the Boomers stuff which has absolutely no basis in history in the way you described it when you first tried to coin that name for our team. You were historically wrong when you first said it and you remain wrong now. History hasn’t changed. You wind up sounding like an uneducated person where Oklahoma history is concerned. You are the only one who uses that term and it has never caught on.

Otherwise, fine piece. I have a Westbrook jersey from his 1st season here, and I love the guy. I call him my “little brother.”

I really look for russ to make the next step this year of managing his game in the playoffs. He is big, strong and at his position, poses a mismatch for the opposition on most nights. I see him recently having a tendancy to no when to turn it on and when to go to the big dog in KD. Russell is explosive and dynamic but KD has that kobe and jordan like finishing polish.

Mr. Tramel, the loss last night was no worse that either of the two losses to the Clippers last year. The first of those was by 15 points to a Clippers team that started 1-13 (with the that game as their sole win). The second was a 6-point loss after leading the Clippers by 16 in the 2nd quarter. Durant, Westbrook, and Harden combined to shoot 12-47 and 14-47, respectively, in those two games. Bad games happen, but last year’s team (mostly) managed to avoid losing consecutive games. No need to lose sleep over one bad game.

Now, congrats to Russ and the bright future in OKC!

Russell to me stood out as an unknown point guard on his very first season with the Thunder. If you remember we had Earl Watson as our point guard, who couldn’t shoot and was slow and uninspiring. Russell brought excitement and vitality to the team. Thanks Russell!!!!!!!!!
