Last night against the Wizards he had 5 rebounds. That’s 5 more than Cole Aldrich (DNP – Coach’s Decision) had. The Wizards beat the Thunder by about 5 points.

I’m glad Perk has a big heart to match his big contract.

He strikes me as being similar to Durant in the way ‘place and people’ mean so very much to him. Durant spent one year at Texas. One. And yet he bleeds Burnt Orange. The Sooner in me doesn’t much like that, but the Thunder in me says to shut up about it. And the human in me admires it about him.

Same for Perk. You call him Gran Torino, I call him The Big Friendly Scowl. But we can all call him a darn good guy with a big-time heart.
