Offensive MVP….if not Bell who else made a bigger impact on offense? Maybe Tress Way or the entire offensive line would have been better. without Bell do we score in the red zone like we did? Give the guy credit.

I agree with all you said, however, history over the last couple of years says that in most of those instances where Bell is playing we either punt or kick a field goal. Our success inside the 20 was crappy until the Belldozer came along. And in many instances our running game could not pick up a 3rd and short. Matter of fact we were better at 3rd and long than we were at 3rd and short. So, I agree that Landry played tough and all, but I don’t necessarily disagree with his MVP.

OU almost certainly will be better off in 2012 if Landry Jones stays. What that might mean for 2013 is impossible to tell.

Jones is at the peak of his ability in college football. He will not and cannot play better.

I like Bell, Ready to see if he can throw the ball. Jones will have his success in the NFL, under the right system. Its time for a change, Mike Stoops coming home and B. Bell making his anticipated debut. Maybe not next year but the year after that Sooner Magic will once again play for the crystal ball.

I have watched them all. You have a good point. Can’t blame it all on the QB. Landry Jones reminds me of the Danny White years of the Dallas Cowboys. Those losses were not his fault. Very good QB but no Staubach, just like Jones is very good, but no Bradford. Hard to replace a legend. Maybe OU will win it all next year unlike Danny White. I like Landry and hope he does well in the NFL, he is one of the good guys.
