Until OSU proves it can beat OU I'm not the slightest bit concerned about this game...even though OU has lost key players to injury. I think OU scores 50+ pts. and I think they can hold the cowgerbils under that. That huge psychological advantage OU has from a history of complete and total domination (Gundy has NEVER beaten OU as a player or coach) is just too much to overcome.

I'm a huge Sooner fan and I want to pick Ou on this one. However, if Ou plays the way they did every since Broyles went down w/ his injury, Oklahoma St. will win. I'm thinking at this point an 80% chance OSU beats OU by a large margin if they play the way they did they last couple games. I hate to say it, but this is probably the year they break the 8 game win streak. No matter what happens, I'm still Boomer Sooner for life!!!

OU played for the national championship after getting beaten by KSU. If LSU loses to Georgia, they may get in it anyway. As for Bedlam, I have no idea who will win this one, but if were a betting man, I would bet on OSU.

I would buy the tragic circumstances effecting the Cowboy loss had they not been up 24-7... So, for the first half plus one drive they were unaffected, but they collapsed from there because of the somber mood? I don't buy it. The Pokes succumbed to the pressure of their record and ranking, much like many other teams throughout history. Let's be honest here, the college football landscape is not littered with schools contending for national titles without ever winning an outright conference title. Just doesn't happen, though the first step may occur Dec. 3.

Very concise way to explain why OSU lost to ISU,agree 100% w what you have written.
No one that has ever played athletics would disagree either, there is no way OSU players and coaches had mind on game, bigger things in life than playing a football game.
Would have been more disappointed w players and coaches had their demeaner been upbeat before game.
