BU has never played well vs. OSU. RG3 does more with his team than anybody else. Weeden has more weapons, Jones has an incredidle supporting cast. RG3 gets killed every week and keeps on ticking. The biggest thing is though none of the other QB’s are 10% of the athlete that RG3 is. He’ll be on the Olympic 400 meter hurdle team as well. The dude is just a plain stud. Besides, Weeden is too old to count.

KD and DanDDiver,
Yeah, the Bears lost to Oklahoma State, so technically RG3 lost to Weeden.
In that game, RG3 had more yards:
23-50 for 425 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
Weeden
24-36 for 274 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
You can’t blame Griffin for Baylor’s poor defense and even though he had two interceptions in that game, he only has five all year compared to 12 for Weeden.

That was an awesome performance for Griffin against the Sooners. Simply awesome!

However, RG3 has shown he’s very beatable by what many consider a poor defense as in OSU.

OSU destroyed RG3 — made him look average. But OSU’s defense has also made a red-shirt freshman with a weak arm and lousy accuracy look All American (ISU).

Doege looked like an AA against a highly overrated Swooner defense. So did Baylor.

Weeden, Griffin and Klein are the best 3 QBs in the Big 12.
Jones, Doege and Tannehill make up the second tier.
No one cares about the rest.

Had OSU’s FG been ruled good, Weeden would still be the Heisman front runner. But since RG3 beat the overrated Swooners, he’s considered God-like by this paper.

Generally have to agree with KD, other than I don’t think the “head to head” matchups are relevant for comparing quarterbacks. RG3 did not look strong against OSU. Weeden hasn’t played “poorly” against anyone. He’s had stronger games and weaker games, but not a poor game.

Weeden beat RG3 head to head. Has more Yards and TDs, wins.

Doege put up nearly identical numbers against OU…in Norman.

RG3 couldn’t score on OSU until they put in the 2nd and 3rd string, and only mustered 3 points in the first 3 quarters against Kansas…while Weeden had 5 TDs in less than 2 quarters.

Tannehill outplayed RG3 head to head.

Amazed at the overreaction on RG3 because of one game.

I’d go Weeden, Klein/RG3, Landry.
