Wrong Jerry, voters will not put a rematch of LSU-Alabama in the BCS championship game if there is a once beaten (unexplainable loss) OU team sitting there unless everyone else has 2 losses. OU's strength of schedule by the end will be better than Bama's or LSU's, which means once again that the computers would probably have a once beaten OU ahead of a once beaten Bama or LSU even though there loss is to a much better team. The other factor is that a once beaten OU team that has just beaten an undefeated and #2 OSU team on the road will garner much attention for the final polls from the voters and will help OU jump in the human polls in the final week. So there is still a decent chance, but it would require a loss by Stanford, an undefeated OSU until OU plays them, and OU must win out and in good fashion; no close games against aTm, ISU, or Baylor.

There are only 4 teams that have a chance at the BCS championship game. Alabama, LSU, OSU and Stanford. A one loss Alabama or LSU will get in before an undefeated Boise State or ANY other 1 loss team. It might be nice to think about OU getting into the BCS Championship Game, but it won’t happen. The BEST OU can do is run the table, win the Big XII and go to the Fiest Bowl. Winning the conference is still a great goal to shoot far, but that means winning ALL the remaing games, and that won’t be easy. It is POSSIBLE OU and OSU will play TWICE more. If OU beats OSU and it is a close game it might be a rematch in the Fiesta Bowl. So OU fans, me included, need to forget about the BCS Championship Game and just hope OU plays in the Fiesta Bowl as Conference Champions.
