Let me ask you something Jason. What makes you think OU is better than Arkansas? The Hogs have played a monumentally tougher schedule than OU to this point and their only loss was to unbeaten and #1/#2 ranked Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Have you seen them play? They’ve got a QB projected to go very high in the NFL draft who is significantly better than Tech’ Doege in the opinion of most analysts. I think if you study the record and stats so far there is no objective factual basis to claim OU is better than the Hogs right now. Arkansas also has a habit of popping the LSU balloon regularly. Unfortunately, that last game of the SEC-West regular season is down in the bayou this year, but the Hogs have beaten long odds to win there before too, in 2009 as a matter of fact if I recall correctly, so we’ll see how it plays out. Sorry if you do know of which you speak, but I suspect you don’t know Arkansas.

My prediction is: OU will never win another National title under Bob Stoops’ leadership AND they will go 9-3 in this regular season. I think they lose to K-State and O-State to cap the regular season. Their problem is coaching and it has been apparent since the last trip to a Nat’l Championship arena. If O-State had the personnel OU recruits
with Gundy and his staff,Alabama and LSU would be hard pressed to beat them.

This is the reason the BCS needs change. I love college football but I am not sure I can continue to follow such obvious biased rankings. I do agree that Oklahoma is better than say Arkansas. However, the teams should not be ranked based on preceptions. They should be ranked based on what happens on the field. There is no way Oklahoma should be top 10. Wisconsin loses on a last ditch Hail Mary to a ranked team on the road adn drops 9 spots while Oklahoma loses at home to an unranked team (and never had the lead the entire game) and drops 6 spots??? And I am not biased here. I am a S. FL Bulls and a Gators fan.
