What I remember about him: I belive he was moved to guard after that 1985 Miami game in Norman in which Jerome Brown absolutely abused LG Eric Pope over and over, eventually breaking Troy Aikman’s ankle on a sack play. After that game, the coaches realized they needed more talent at guard in order to handle the big DTs in the 4-3 that the best teams like Miami were running. I wonder if Hutson had been playing guard that day how things might have turned out differently.
