Landry Jones better come back next year IMHO. There is no way he is ready for the NFL. If you think he gets happy feet at this level, watch out for playing on Sunday. He has continued to progress year after year but another year would do him well.

Texas’ problem is that it does not take JUCOs because it cannot get them in school academically. Stoops brought the KState mentality with him when he came to OU: If the kid can play, take him and figure out some way to keep him eligible. Put simply, OU takes kids that Texas can not get into school. But the biggest single problem Texas has is that the OU staff simply does a better job of coaching, imho.

Why do Stoops and others keep saying that Bradford “stayed.” He left early, foregoing his final year of eligibility. Landry Jones has already started more games and played more minutes than Bradford did in his OU career.

I think you all got it wrong as far as seniors going true as far as OU’s QB depth very wrong for the last two years now there has been a QB that OU has that never been seen as far as Allen and Bell yes more play time be perfect from what I I have talked with my really good friend and family member on the In law side My friend Austin Box you all know who i am talking about OU is deeper than you think ! I will leave it at that and if you are ever in the Stroud area come hang out with the family @ Betty Lou’s And one last statement Austin you will Always be remembered We love you Kid

OSU loses 9 seniors next year (10 if you include Blackmon leaving), with 3 off the O-line, starting QB, and all 3 starting WRs. Next year will be rough for them.

The young Texas has 6 senior starters…the same as OU (Good is only playing because Habern is hurt).

Definitely a different story if Landry bolts though…

If OU gets the crystal ball Jones goes. If not, he comes back. We need to see both Allen and Bell on the field this year, maybe for a half, like this week. Give each a qtr to show how they can move the O. OSU will loose Blackman and Weeden to the pros. And they come to Norman next year.

OSU looks like they might have a good team for next year, but OU looks like they are going to be incredible. OU should beat OSU every year over the next 2-3 years (if not longer). The best eam in Oklahoma is going to be OU for the next few years at least. yes jones. im mocking you
