I'm not a fan of Colorado or even of the Big XII, but I would have to agree with CU fan.

Colorado is gone, they have left the conference. So why trample on their memory?

Wish them and Nebraska luck and move on.

It must have been tough to remember Colorado was in the Big 12 when they beat Texas to win the Big 12 Championship in 2001. Or when they were Big 12 North champs four out of five years in the early 2000s. Or when they beat #3 Oklahoma in 2007. Or when they beat Oklahoma every time they played them between the beginning of the Big 12 until 2002.

Sure, CU football hasn't been great in the last five years. A recruiting scandal and a bad coach will do that to you (remember the late 90's, OU fans?). But to say that it was "tough to remember that Colorado was even in the conference" is ridiculous.

Out of 15 Big 12 championships, Nebraska played in 6, Colorado played in 4, and Kansas State and Missouri played in 2 each. It says something about the way the Big 12 North schools are treated that their two most successful football schools bolted for other conferences.
