judging from your posts you are Dallas fans. Be "objective" and watch the game, and realize that Marion and Stevenson were being just as aggressive KD and getting away with as much. As far as fouls that were called, OKC was aggressive in going to the basket against a zone D which is what you have to do against a zone. Quit being mad because the refs didn't allow the protective aura around Dirk like they always do.

There was a noticable difference in the way Game 3 was called from one end of the floor to the other. Collison was allowed to push, hold and hand check Dirk 15 ft away from the basket (if game 3 had been called like game 1 Collison would have fouled out in five minutes) but Dallas' perimeter players got whistled for brushing Westbrook on drives. I thought game 1 was called to tight on both ends and game 3 was so inconsistent that it made me wonder whether there really was some "home cooking" going on. If they had "let them play" on both ends, Dallas would have won by 15.

I tend to think that things will be more consistent tonight, but I would guess that it won't get less physical but rather more physical play will be allowed on both ends.

Wow. What a ridiculous point to try to make by listing how many fouls were called. That was the point Carlisle was making. Collison is beating Dirk up and getting away with it. The refs were whistle happy in game 1, and swallowed the whistle in game 3 when Dallas had the ball.

Tonight will be more evenly called though. To quote my favorite baseball manager, "That's the way the NBA go."

If any OKC fans really think they are objective, I would challenge them to really watch the defense Collison played on Nowitzki, and imagine a Dallas defender doing exactly the same things to Durant! Would you say: "Great defense!" Or say: "Whoa! Should have been a few fouls called there!" Enough said!

We can, however, give credit where credit is due - Collison DID do a great job on Nowitzki! No question about it! But he did cross the line, but being a home game, was able to get away with it. The refs do share part of the blame!
