Hey LW, Most NWA people are decent because they moved in due to Wally World? You are a moron my friend. I went to school at Fayetteville in the early 80′s and stayed to work for several years in Benton County before the population explosion and I can tell you without a doubt that the natives are the strongest asset. It’s the jerk-offs who have come from everywhere to try and cash in on the WM, Tyson, Hunt, Hudson et als who are ruining it. It was a damn nice place to live before the population doubled since 89′. Most of them don’t appreciate the natural resources in the Ozarks which are unparalleled in the region and look down at the natives as if nothing existed there before Wal-Mart made them all move there by standing firm in maintaining HQ in Bentonville and refusing to pay for travel so buyers could go to the vendors. If you want to sell product to WM you have to come to them and you have to establish a permanent presence in the NWA. That’s the only reason for the explosion.

Guess I was dead wrong about Nolan’s coaching tree being out of the question. As soon as Pelphreys firing hit the wires it’s Mike Anderson’s name that shoots to the top of the list! I still say they’s rather have a Sutton or Sutton product.

You wouldnt know stupid if it jumped up and bit you in the leg. Academically, okstate and Arkansas are equal if anything. Don’t try and pretend osu is an academically prestigious school. Your argument about students from Texas may be true but it’s just as true at okstate. To make it worse okstate has a leave portion of ou rejects and wanna be sooners.
Additionally, you must not be much of an economist; Arkansas is (unlike Oklahoma) one of the only states in the country without a budget deficit. Last, I never said wrestling wasn’t an Olympic just that no one watches it even in the olympics unlike track. I guarantee you 99% of americans couldn’t tell you the best college/professional wrestler; the same is not true of track most people would be aware of who usain bolt or Tyson gay (Arkansas alum btw) are. If you think okstate is a better athletic department I challenge to find a sport that people give two crocks about that okstate could defeat arkansas. I tell you it’s not football, its not baseball, definitely not track. Ok so wrestling and most likely basketball now (but not next year). Even Arkansas golf team would most likely defeat osu; speaking of golf and a fall from glory where did okstates golf dynasty go?

Timothy, not bitter, just sick of people like you, and bryan. OSU is a much better school and a much better athletic department. Mike Gundy much better coach. Find it funny that I used to work with a kid from texas that went to school at arkansas because he couldn’t get into the texas schools. Yes the economy used to be good, before the home builders and banks screwed it up. Most people in NWA decent, mainly due to move ins because of Walmart. P.S. wrestling olympic sport also.

I just googled it a saw you found that on wikipedia. Just show you know how legitimate a source that is I went ahead and edited the rankings; giving both Arkansas and LSU their proper number and congratulations okstate is now number 6 on the list.

Arkansas has won 47 national championships. 6 track have been stripped but nonetheless were won and in addition arkansas split the 1964 football championship with Alabama, even though they defeated Alabama. Also the total number of championships includes more womens titles at okstate which shouldn’t even count as valid; since the argument was over which school had better mens programs.

So yea you can use google, just not very effectively. 
