As a Marine pilot, my aircraft broke down and I was trapped at the Army base until my fellow Marines rescued me. What an awful place. I am not sure which is worse, El Paso or the Army. Maybe it’s just the Marine in me, but what I saw of the Army in El Paso explains a lot about why they do so poorly in combat. No leadership at all. People better hope to God congress never does away with the Corps.
