OU's no-huddle fast pace offense generally confused the defense from opposing teams. Some of the opponents' offensive teams even tried to match the pace and got themselves into trouble. When the 4th quarter came around, the OU offensive players slowed down, and the opposing defense adjusted and could better react to the no-huddle plays. In truth, the no-huddle offense can carry the sooners for 3 quarters, but without sound offense and defense strategies, the opposing teams will eventually catch up.

I think the play calling has become extremely conservative in the fourth quarters. They are afraid of turnovers or getting Landry injured. Its Murray off right tackle, Murray off left tackle, swing pass to Murray and hope you have a first down.

I also think that Landry has been told to not take any hits, just throw it away. If they gonna get Landry injured, then its going to be a higher stakes game than we've seen so far this season.

Did you notice that after having good success throwing the ball to Millard in the first qtr, they did not go back to him till the fourth qtr when they needed that TD after Cincy muffed the punt.

Coaching staff has been playing just to win, they not concerned with style points.
