I like to watch baseball at it’s pureest form and Little league fills that bill. The boys enjoy playing. TV does go overboard with it’s coverage and analyzing though. It’s fun to see dreams come true.

What I can’t understand is how the parents get so excited watching their 12 yr old sons play by 9 year old rules on a short field??? Seriously a 220 ft dead center HR?
Not very impressive for a TV product!

Ditto. What frustrated me (when I used to watch) is that it is not really baseball. No leadoffs, no advancement on wild pitches, no stealing, etc., etc. What’s more, there are dozens of leagues for 12-year-olds and younger in every town in America that play by what most would consider normal baseball rules. It is more like softball than baseball and is thus unwatchable.
