		<description><![CDATA[while googling arou8nd about oklahoma city indians, i came across this one on the blog.  i was alive and watching the indiansin what had become texas league park and it definitely was a wonderful place.  i had my second job there as a score board boy.  it definitely was worth saving and remembering.  the oklahoman did a good full page spread on it which i kept for a while but haven&#039;t found lately.  need to ask bt if it can be found]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[A good and necessary blog entry for a town I love -- Oklahoma City -- in which no place is so sacred that we won&#039;t blow it up or tear it down.  In fact, it&#039;s hard for me to believe our good fortune that the Skirvin Hotel survived.  What truly scares me is the idea that they might one day knock down venerable Taft Stadium.  Sadly, this giant of the city sports scene is just not in the shape it deserves to be in anymore.]]></description>
