Heaven is a much better place now that it has added Daryl as one of it’s residents. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hunt family, may the Creator Bless and keep you.

To the punk, Edwin, I think it was poor taste to take a shot and the Boz during this family’s sadness. Only a punk would take a shot like that. You know Brian would twist your head off if you had the guts to mouth off to him in person, heck I might do it for him, let me know when and where. Boomer Sooner!

Daryl was a monster and to watch him go through guys and put them to the dirt was special. He should be in the Hall of Fame as stated above! Get the letters started, one at a time until he has been recognized as he should be. RIP Mr. Hunt and thanks for the memories!

Bosworth took a lot of flack after he became the Boz and for a disappointing pro career, but his Freshman year, before all that, he was what he probably is again, a really decent guy. Yup, Hunt and Bosworth were something else. I really appreciate all the other remarks above, and it goes to show how deep the OU brotherhood goes.

Why the Hell is Hunt not in the College Football Hall of Fame? What a joke, some of the coaches and players that have gotten in there in recent years are so average. This guy is the all time leading tackler for the Top program since World War 2!! How many Notre Dame losers are in just because of the name. Oklahoma needs to focus their sports info guys on getting some of these great players from the 70′s and 80′s in.

brian bosworth spoke from the heart on daryl hunt as a person and a player. i watch the oklahoma sooners all my life and this era team from the 70,s was awesome too watch under barry switzer. speaking true too his heart the boz is a true oklahoma soooner player even after his playing days in norman. daryl was the same player as well, coming from texas like boz and others i love these texas boys who chose too play at oklahoma university and cross the red river too play. again my sincere thoughts and prayers are with the hunt family, friends, and ex-ou players. once a sooner always a sooner. sincerely ou-johnny in texas. I echo the words of The Boz. I remember watching Daryl play. I was in High School when he was a Sooner. Being from the Philadelphia area my weekends are still centered around the Sooners and the Eagles and they are ruined whenever they lose. R.I.P. Daryl. Boomer Sooner!!!
