Texas does not have a national following? You must be another jealous aggie.

Jerry world would zap the excitement out of the game. I think it is the worst venue for a college game you could imagine. I would skip it if it moved there.

Leaving the fair would be a huge mistake. Games at jerryworld are nothing like going to a football game. it’s like going to a best buy, where they happen to be playing football. The cotton bowl was great and with the remodeled seats, thrones, etc., it’s perfect for some otober afternoon football in Texas. And, it’s 2:01 and OU still does what they do best.

What people fail to understand is that by Texas pushing Nebraska to the limit and making it easy for them to go to the Big10, the conference lost the 1 team with the most national appeal. Sure UT and OU are big names but Husker fans are a national brand from NY to LA. They show up in mass. UT and OU simply don’t have that national following.

The Big12 lost A LOT by making it easy for NU to leave.

The Big12 will FOREVER regret losing Nebraska. NEBRASKA is what gave the Big12 the nation wide following – more so than tu or OU.

Did you hear the latest from Tuberville about what he thinks about his OWN conference? The Big12 is on life support. I give it 2 yrs. max.

2:30 is better, because it is usually hotter and still plenty humid to add even more flavor to the contest.

I’m as much about tradition as anyone, but I think a night kick off would be great. I also would welcome the move to the nicest stadium in the world. As for the move to the conference championship week, I think it is apropriate since the game will be for the championship most every year. Add in the national exposure it would give not only to the programs but for the whole conference.

I still don’t understand why Barry and others want to continue to call the Big 12 an inferior product without Nebraska. Nebraska has been irrelevant for a long time until last year and the Big 12 has done just fine.
