I like the idea of an all day event. It could feature high schools and/or NAIA schools during the day and OU,OSU,TU,and ORU in the evening.

Let’s just make it a statewide bedlam tour. OKC for all college, Tulsa, Lawton, Enid for some yet to be determined event. if the idea is to jump start basketball interest statewide then why limit it. Let’s ignore the rest of college basketball and just have bedlam 6 or 7 times a year. The idea is insulting in that it assumes that I am to ignorant of sports outside of Oklahoma to want to see anybody else. Bad idea.

Absolutely a horrible idea. The quintessential concept of ‘churning’ the fans. None of us wanted to watch the third Bedlam game this season–even O State fans. There is no need for two teams to play each other four times. Put OU, O State, Tulsa and Oral Roberts in the All College and see what that does for local fan interest.

Naw. I like the way they’re doing it right now. They pick some good teams to come in here and play. You get to see OSU and OU for the ticket price and they are good games. Don’t mess with it. It’s a great show. I would like to see the winners play for the championship, though, to make it a real tournament.

Berry, a couple of questions. Would OU/OSU benefit more financially from a national ESPN telecast or a full Ford Center? Would a women’s Bedlam game be attractive enough for a national audience?

I love taking it a step further. Go back to the 4 team tournament format and make it an in-state affair. OU vs Tulsa OSU vs Oral Roberts, Winners play. Next year alternate OU vs Oral Roberts, OSU vs Tulsa. Would be a great thing for fans from all over the state to get involved with.

There are over 300 teams in div 1 BB,so no need to play one team 3 times. Bad idea.
