The fact that all the games will be on national TV is a way to make it go down faster.

Except for the Ivy league, which doesn’t have a conference tournament, the NCAA tournament includes ALL division 1 teams anyways. Tournament starts with the conference tournaments. Win your conference tournament, and you get to continue on in “The Big Dance”. If you don’t win your conference tournament, and are good enough, you do get a second chance in the big dance, sometimes even securing a number 1 seed.

Just happy it’s not 96 but the best thing to come out of this is the CBS-Turner partnership that will televise every game live on one of 4 networks. The online access was OK but hopefully CBS producers will now take their finger off the switch button and stop frustrating us from breaking away from a tight game with a minute to play to go back to a game just going into a timeout. Just need to find TruTV on my lineup before next March.
