Big 12: KSU a tough matchup for OSU
Kansas State is a tough matchup for Oklahoma State. The Wildcats are known for guards Jacob Pullen and Denis Clemente, but KSU has much more than those two.

“They’ve got a complete team,” Cowboy coach Travis Ford said. “I’ve said all along — I said it after we played them the first time, I said it before we played them the first time after watching film. They’re the type of team that can it to the Final Four.
“They’ve got great, high-level athletes. Very well coached. They’ve got a lot of good players.”
The Wildcats have four double-digit scorers. Pullen (18.9 points per game), Clemente (16.0) and forwards Jamar Samuels and Curtis Kelly (11.4 each).
Ford admitted you start with K-State’s guards, “but then they’ve got Curtis Kelly, who gives you mismatch problems.” Kelly is 6-foot-8, 239 pounds.
“They’re just a really good basketball team,” Ford said. “There’s a reason they’ve been ranked in the top 10 most of the year. Very good basketball team.”
The Wildcats are 24-6 and ranked ninth. But they lost at home to OSU 73-69 on Jan. 23. Anderson scored 30 points for the Cowboys. Turns out not all the tough matchups will be wearing purple.
