I agree with MartzMimic, the cheap-shots towards OKC will all go away in time. I can only guess that Salt Lake City is happy thar OKC is in the league because the media will leave them alone for a while. Don’t dismiss the thought that some of the reporters are mad that they no longer get a free trip to Seattle a couple of times a year. Even though they don’t want to build a new arena, Seattle is still a “world class” city.

As far as the media’s depiction of Oklahoma City, I think it’s something that will eventually fall by the wayside. In the Thunder’s second year, we’re already seeing a drop in the number of times the move from Seattle is mentioned.

Tom Landry had a bunch of punks when he was winning Super Bowls? Really???? Who exactly? Walt Garrison? Roger Staubach? Ralph Neely? Bob Lilly? Lee Roy Jordan? The truth is, Mr. Tramel, Jimmie Johnson had the Super Bowl punks, not Tom Landry.
