For some reason, nobody ever takes Army and Navy to task for not joining a conference, but with Notre Dame, it’s somehow proof of Irish “arrogance.”

I also can’t understand the attitude that says, “Since we were stupid enough to saddle ourselves with a conference championship game, all the other conferences have to do likewise.” We (the Big 12) sold ourselves to the championship game like cheap hookers, and now we want to force everyone else to do likewise? Crazy!
