Since Tramel seems determined to get people to start referring to the Thunder by his stupid pet name “Boomers”, I suggest people every where start referring to him by a stupid pet name. I respectfully offer up, “Dingle”.

Further, I agree that Gortat is an intriguing free agent because he’s capable of playing center and defending the interior, but Leon Powe? He’s more undersized than Millsap and is coming off his third knee surgery. He wasn’t even that great to begin with, I’d stay away from him.

“No reason to spend a lot of money on a player who might get you from 34 to 38 wins. But a young player who in two years might help you get from 44 to 48 wins? That’s a more intriguing signing.”

What does this even mean? Is the first case Paul Millsap and the second Marcin Gortat? Paul Millsap is younger and better than Gortat. If he’s signed and the team wins 34 to 38 games this year it’s not like he won’t be around next year. I don’t get what you’re trying to say.

With the situation in Detroit would the Thunder be interested in trading for Richard Hamilton? Good defender and scorer that help with leadership on the team.

I like Gortat as a free agent. I think we may be able to make the playoffs with him, with the additions of our shooting guards, and Collison moving to power forward and rotating with Uncle Jeff.

powe is a fan favorite in boston and he loves it there if his knee comes back healthy he will resign with boston if his knee isn’t totally healthy we don’t want him either.if we can get him at a reasonable price he wouldn’t be a bad pick up as he is a great inside scorer. not quite the defensive presense or shot blocker we need but a great inside scorer who could come off the bench and help. just don’t overpay to get him. Gortat would be perfect. go all out to get him.
