It is amusing that most Okies seem to believe the world revolves aroung Oklahoma (politicians, athletics, especially OU, etc.). Although I was raised here, I had the opportunity to attend college elsewhere and live in various places including Europe briefly. Wound up spending 30+ years in Dallas. I am disappointed in the corruption and misspending of tax monies here. Wake up and realize that we are only a small parrt of the world!! – Bill (OKC)

There are Christians, and there are people who call themselves christians. According to the Bible (the entire Bible, not just certain passages), if you are a true christian, there is no way you could vote for Obama, because of what he beleives. That’s not judging, that believing what the Bible says is true.

Where in the gospels does Jesus specifically say that he doesn’t support gay unions or is against abortion? I think if you actually read it Jesus never actually had anything to say about GLBTQ issues. And if you turn to other passages that might seem to speak on these issues I challenge you to do some Biblical scholarship and read various interpretations and look at the particular context in which it was written ie social economic political locations of those the stories were written for

Show me Joe in the new testament where the two things I stated above contradict what I said in my above statements. I can see where you stand already and it does not reflect with Christian values. Seems it leans more toward liberal theology.
