In 28 years of living in Austin, I have found endless amusement in how Oklahomans can be lectured by Texans — OF ALL PEOPLE — on how bad it is to do things that “encourage a negative stereotype”, and that they say it with absolutely no sense of the irony. It’s a little like Hitler scolding someone for anti-semitism.
