Unbelievable that longhorn fans keep crying about McCoy producing more without a tight end or a running game. Texas has a top 5 recruiting class every year. Where are the athletes? Colt McCoy is a fine quarterback and a stand up guy.

Rules are rules and every Coach has to abide by them, even Whinin’ Mack. Mack has always been a whiner, even when Sims played at Texas, Brown wouldn’t let Sims speak for himself, but Whinin’ MacK
did all the talking….and this was when he couldn’t beat Stoops.
Shucks, Whiner, there is always next year…..

berry, i think i understand you somewhat now. your kinda like herbstreit and may and those guys, controvesy sells so you’ll write and/or speak your controversial opinion and get alot of feedback. it’ll keep you with job security, am i right? i do like a lot of your stuff, but as a SOONER fan i do get fired up with some of the things you write or say. i will say this too, you do come up with thoughts and angles i dont think about. its all interesting. this has been an exciting, unbelievable, raucus, opinionated, and action-packed season wouldnt you say?????,

Berry, you know I like to read your colnum . I did not agree with you about Mack Brown being Coach-Of-The-Year. I just couldn’t think of a reasonable reply. I had no idea you took so much stuff from Texas fans. I was born in Texas and have always felt the pride that started with Bud’s teams came from his Texas boys. The key word is pride. . all of the real texas fans understand this. and they are not proud of Mack Brown going on TV while OU and OSU were playing their game to talk about how good his team was. Yeah I’m sure Jesus wanted people to defend God’s name by threatening to “kick your butt back up through your teeth.” And you’re right grammar does involve the proper use of words and the word “vein” is not misspelled but a misused word. Try comprehending what you read next time.

I never stop being amazed by the things you’re attacked for Berry, but the previous response here just took the cake. Someone actually attacked you for defending the Lord’s name. WOW. Hey, Ryan, you may not like Berry, but what have you got against a man defending GOD?

And by the way, I believe that grammar involves the proper use of words and structuring of sentences. Spelling is another matter altogether. Berry’s grammar was perfect.

I don’t know which is worse, a threat of violence towards a reader or the poor grammar displayed by someone who is paid to write. “Veins” are the vessels in your body that take blood back to the heart. Taking the Lord’s name in “vain” is the expression you were attempting to convey in your threat. I guess it’s true what they say about what happens when a fool opens his mouth.
