Anyone want to fly me to OKC say on Thursday....give me a ticket to the game..show me around...hang out with me at a great tailgate, watch the game.......highfive a bunch while we work the Cowgirls like a dumpster fire.....shake hands...I fly back to Vermont and trade you a ski weekend in Stowe for your hospitality.

Just in case......Who knows....maybe Boone himself will will see this and go for the deal. You will drive by Ben and Jerry's on the way where you could score some Cherry Garcia or some Chunky Monkey or maybe a little New York Super Fudge Crunch. Good Stuff.

Maybe learn to snowboard on one of Burton's new crazy stylish boards. Drink some great Vermont beer. Get a little Maple Syrup.

Maybe a little Cabot Cheese. Milk a cow or 400.

Maybe a little trip North to Montreal?

I did mention Ben and Jerry's right?

Go Sooners!

Tickets....Tickets anyone!!!

My first thought on reading all of the comments is, did any of these people, on both sides, who were the teachers for these "educated" persons? Sadly such is the state of education in this country. Another person/persons is "their" not "there." Having said that, the ignorance of so called college football fans is appalling. IF OU beats OSU on Sat. night, & it will be a close game (and I'm a grad & BIG OU fan), I guarantee that If OU wins they will be in the Big 12 Championship game the next Sat. night & they will beat Missouri by a lot more than OSU did. IF they beat OSU. OU is playing a top 12, which should be a top 10, team on Sat. Texas is not even playing a top 40 team Sat. Think that doesn't matter to the computers? Quit being stupid. Florida demolished the Citadel (Yes, a D-1 school) Sat. & didn't move up any in the BCS. And Florida is a very, very, good team, their scheduling hurt them as it's now hurting Texas. OU has beaten TCU & Cincy, both top 16 teams in the BCS STILL in non-conference play. Who did Texas play in non-conf. play? Top 105 teams. Ck it out before showing your ignorance. Add in the fact that OU will have beaten the same teams PLUS Texas Tech despite losing to Texas Early in the year PLUS beat two other top 15-16 teams in the BCS standings & it's very clear that OU will have beaten more top rated teams than Texas. IF they beat OSU. If they don't beat OSU it's all moot. So why show your ignorance before the end of the game Sat. night? I assure you people are not impressed, they are laughing at you as I'm sure Berry is when he reads, hears, these comments. Be passionate about your team, both OU & OSU have very good teams this year although I believe OU has the better team, however they are playing in Stillwater & that has never been a kind environment to OU, in any sport. Add to the fact they are an up & coming team & your have a hotter than usual Bedlam.
However MAKE NO MISTAKE I guarantee you that if OU wins Sat. night they WILL overtake Texas in the BCS & they WILL play Missouri in the Big 12 Championship game & they WILL beat Missouri worse than OSU did & they WILL play Florida in the Orange Bowl for the National Championship. And you can take that to the bank---just not Citibank.
So be passionate NOT ignorant & quit showing your ignorance for everyone to see because IF OU wins Sat. night I will be back on here Sun. night after the BCS standings come out showing OU higher & thus in the Big 12 Championship game to remind the ignorant how actually being learned about what you speak about on internet boards will go a long way to not showing everyone, & giving a lot of people laughs AT you, how ignorant you are.
And in closing, I don't get back on to these boards after writing, in fact I mostly send my e-mails directly to the sports writer & not on these "forums," so even though I know there will be quite a few idiots who don't understand the factual logic of this I'm not going to be reading your inane comments so you are only providing more laughs for the informed writers/readers out there to whom this does not apply. Have a great day.

I predicted a blow-out against Tech, and I will do the same again Okie State. Oklahoma is just a better team. The question the Aggies have to answer is how they can stop Oklahoma's offense. They can't. Therefore, if they get more than 3 stops against the Cowboys, it's over. Oklahoma can only beat themselves.. and that's not happening. Sorry.

Mr . Tramel,

Large victories impact the human polls. The effect of OU's loss to Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship game, but still playing in the (BCS) Championship game caused the BCS gods to remove victory margin from the computer services to make them politically correct. An OU win by 1, 11, or 111 has the same impact on the computer rankings. OU fans really need to be hoping for a victory by Cincinnati over Syracuse as well as losses by the teams that Texas played that OU did not (e.g. Nebraska beating Colorado helps OU and hurts Texas) since all of that factors into the determination of schedule strength. For instance, the Wash St OT victory over Washington hurts OU and helps OSU in the computers. An OU squeaker win over OSU away accompanied by a home Texas blowout of an A&M team that OU also smushed will not likely impact the human polls that already have OU ahead of Texas. OU could also benefit from a close and low scoring Fla-FSU game to move up one more spot in the human polls. Texas only gets a benefit from an OU loss followed by a Tech loss. They are screwed because they played four non-conference patsies as Arkansas is so bad this year and Rice was the only one that has a winning record. So in the end, OU fans will be rooting for several different teams this upcoming week. No style points needed this week.

A loss to Texas. Big deal. Making a big point out of that is like saying the Yankees are not as good as the Orioles because the latter won the most recent game. One loss during the regular season won't kill you in almost any collegiate sport except football. Why? Silly football thinking--amounts to a temporary suspension of good sense. Playoff please.

WoofWoof: You have it backwards, man. If OSU beats OU, then Tech does go to the Big12 CCG, but Texas RETAINS its #2 ranking. They are way ahead of the other pretenders (PSU and USC). Florida vs. Bama will eliminate the loser while the winner goes to the NCG. Texas watches the CCG on TV, and regardless of who wins (Tech or Mizzou), the Horns are in the NCG. Tech is too far behind in the BCS to pass them just by beating MU. So UT fans should all be rooting big time for OSU Saturday night. Oddly, some of them are pulling for an OU beatdown of the Cowboys. Go figure.

oh hey and......anyone that says OU shouldn't be beyond Texas now in any poll?

The football season didn't end on Red River Weekend...did it? We still had more games to play.... right?

Florida lost to Ole Miss.....right? But since then....thanks to media momentum and scoring a few points against the likes of the Citadel and Our Sisters of Mercy....they are the best team in the Country???? Lets call it USC syndrome.

Well, OU has scored a few points as well.....against EVERYONE they have played.

Lose early right? Well.. OU did. Now we are playing great LATE.

So, either we finish the season and stop making the rules up as we go along (why sportswriters shouldn't vote....sorry Berry but its to flavor of the moment for some people to have that responsibility bestowed upon them).....or we let this thing play out. Guess what is going to happen?

Be a realist and you will be fine. Approach it with some common sense and you will understand. Otherwise....it is a YOU problem.

Go OU!

Hey Berry.....Sooner Fans!

Berry, Right on Fella.

It was so great to see the defense step up. These guys played tough all game....special teams....great!

My biggest gripe in the past few years has been the deer- in- the headlights syndrome that this team developes in big games., They got shoved around in the cotton bowl because of it and I was worried that the defense was going to be a 30 point crew all year.

I hope they go into Stillwater with this same chip on their shoulders. We all love to win...but that was great Saturday. Hard, focused, pounding football.

I feel good about things this year...I feel like they have found something in themselves and you want to peak at the right time...at the end....we'll see.

Way to go Boys!

Berry, I have been around all year...enjoying the words...suffering through the video clips...kidding. I just have had little time to write. Probably a good thing for everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and all those great Sooner fans out there!
