Having grown up in Lubbock, I don't know how anyone who lives in El Reno, Yukon, Altus, Enid, Lawton or Oklahoma City (west of I-35) has anything to say about Lubbock. At least we have green crops for part of the year.

I hope I don't sound like a hooligan, but one of my favorite moments ever at Owen Field was helping carry a goalpost from one end of the field to the other after beating Nebraska in 2000. Until that time I'd wondered if the goalposts had ever been torn down at Owen Field. We had a great time out there that day -- I'd hate to think of it as a case of shenanigans that I should've been thrown in the hoosegow for...

And by the way, Austin is a GREAT town to live in. Of course, I bought a place that's a 10-minute drive from work, so the traffic's not such a problem for me. It's the best town in Texas, hands down, even with all the UT crap everywhere!
