Sorting out the Big 12 tiebreakers
Provided the contenders win all their remaining games against non-contenders, here are the Big 12 South possibilities:
IF TEXAS WINS OUT
If Tech beats OSU, OU beats Tech & OSU beats OU: Tech wins.
If Tech beats OSU & Tech beats OU: Tech wins.
If Tech beats OSU, OU beats Tech & OU beats OSU: BCS ranking determines. OU would have the inside track.
If OSU beats Tech & OU beats Tech: Texas wins.
If OSU beats Tech, Tech beats OU & OSU beats OU: BCS ranking determines. OSU would have the inside track.
If OSU beats Tech, Tech beats OU & OU beats OSU: Tech wins.
The parameters change if there’s an upset. The most difficult game involving a contender but not both is Texas’ Nov. 15 game at Kansas. If the Jayhawks upset the Longhorns, here are the Big 12 South possibilities:

If Tech beats OSU, OU beats Tech & OSU beats OU: Tech wins.
If Tech beats OSU & Tech beats OU: Tech wins.

I agree except I believe Texas has the inside track in the three way tiebreaker. Texas was ranked 7th in the coaches poll and still was ahead of oklahoma in the bcs. While Oklahoma beating tech and osu will improve their computer scores their computer scores will never be as high as Texas becasue OU did not play good non big 12 south teams. And texas will only move up in the coaches poll while Oklahoma at 4 is unlikely to move up much.
Who has the easiest path to win the South? OSU goes to Tech, ou hosts Tech but ou goes to go to Stillwater? I will have to choose a team each week to root for besides OSU. I will also have to root against Penn State and Alabama.
