An NBA survey for Oklahoma City fans
The Oklahoman will run a poll this weekend gauging fan expectations for the NBA franchise set to debut this autumn. Here’s your chance to be heard.
We are asking fans who plan to follow the team closely to answer five questions and email their responses to Mike Baldwin at mbaldwin@oklahoman.com. You could even send this survey on to someone you know, so they can participate, too. Deadline is 6 p.m. Thursday.
Here’s what we need. Your name, city in which you live, age, email address and phone number.
Here are the questions:
1. How many games will the new NBA team win this season after winning only 20 last season in Seattle?
a) 15-20
b) 21-25
c) 26-30
d) 31-35
e) 36-40
f) more than 40.
2. How many seasons will it take for Oklahoma City’s new NBA to reach the playoffs?
a) first season
b) second season
c) third season
d) fourth season
e) fifth season
3. Will Oklahoma City ever win an NBA championship?
a) Yes
b) No.
4. Will the NBA still be in Oklahoma City in 2018, 10 years from now?
a) Yes

5. Of the 41 home games, how many NBA games do you think you will attend at the Ford Center this season?

Barry, you fine to me. no complaints on your appearance, you are what you are. on the questions here are my answers and i am an optimist. 1. 31-35 games; 2. b-2nd season; 3. yes, they will win a championship; 4. yes, they will be here longer than 2018; and 5. on my salary i hope i can at least make 2 games with my son. Hey what would the chance to get a autograph picture of you for myself and my son. Go Barry!!!

Anyway.. I will email this in. in the mean time, here is my response.
1. C 26-30 games.
2. With the talent they have and the room they have under cap, this team has a lot of upside. I say within the first 4 years.
3. So many things have to go right for any organization to win an NBA title. It would be nice, and we should expect nothing but titles. But getting to the Playoffs is a nice first step.
4. Yes, the NBA will still be in OKC. it is pretty easy to support one major professional organization, when there is no others around.
5.Unfortunately I live in Kansas right now. So the number of games that I will attend depends on what is going on that day. $4.00 for a gallon of gas tends to hamper whenever travel.
