I’m not sure what you were reading above, but what you wrote was way off – OSU did beat MU and Eaton sealed the deal!

Sean is a pathetic joke for a coach? The apathy of humor is going to look even better next year – OSU returns everyone except Dove…so you get one more year of Eaton.

Lucky for Sean? Lucky for OSU. Sutton can coach, has coached (and recruited) and he continues to prove it.

Perhaps I am not as intelligent as you would like. Just curious why an entire sports staff of scribes would spend all this time bashing a coach at Indiana. He no longer coaches at OU !!
If you think that foul call that dictated the final score at oSu wasn’t home cooking so be it.
Some of your articles I find insightful. Others I disagree with. And Yes I will stand behind my statement that Mizzou will beat the slow pokes. Surely there are stories involving sports other than an ex OU coach “suppossedly breaking NCAA rules “. Being that I pay 14.95 a week to read your paper I will offer my comments. If you perceive me to be unintelligent , that is your opinion. You must remember we all have opinions, right or wrong!!!!!!!!

Then again, “opinions” are all we have at this point and it’s exactly why Mr. Tramel, and other writers, write about these issues. Until a school makes a decision then it’s all speculation.

Can you fault a sports writer or sports radio host for not bringing it up? This is the stuff we as fans pick up the papers to read or turn on the radio to listen to – opinions. Of course there are the games. And the facts and stats. And there are the good or bad stories a player may do off the court/field. But these side-stories fill the paper and airwaves, they give us something to debate about over lunch. If we stopped reading and listening they’d quit writing and talking. Then we’d gripe about a one-page sports section (not far off now on some days).

The only things certain here is (happy debating):

Eddie Sutton steps down at USF after Scott Sutton is named Head Coach Designate.

With ORU position open Self returns to be close to family.

Eddie and Bob Knight want to keep coaching, hire Kelvin Sampson to make a few calls.

At least that’s what I’ve heard.
